Michael J. Strait, Jacqueline A. Haynes, and Peter W. Foltz
Abstract
This paper will present several examples of the application of Latent
Semantic Analysis (LSA) to practical problems of knowledge acquisition,
management and assessment. The purpose of this presentation is to make
other knowledge management (KM) and artificial intelligence (AI)
researchers aware of the value of LSA as an automated
technique for improving the utility of Lessons Learned (LL)
and similar knowledge and information management systems.
